About Mirit
Mirit is an award-winning professional belly dance artist based in
Mountain View / San Francisco Bay Area, California.
She is also a certified trainer, choreographer and instructor.
Performs in restaurants and at private events in San Francisco and
throughout the Bay Area. Mirit feels privileged to dance regularly
with many of the top Middle Eastern musicians in the Bay Area.
Mirit was trained by the reputed Bay area and well-known
internationally belly dancers.
Studied with Yolanda, Dunia, Malia, Celena, Sandra, Sausan and
Amina.
Workshops with well known teachers such as Raqia Hassan, Tito,
Aziza, Jillina, Mashuqa, Sahara Saeeda, Zahra Zuhair, Soraia
Zaied, Tito, Ozgen, Fatheim, Leila Farid, Shoshanna, Elizabeth
Strong, Karim Nagi and many others have further enhanced Mirit's
dance style.
Won Grand Dancer of the Year 2017, 3rd
place winner 2012 Jewel of the Sierra Competition, other awards.
She founded and direct
the Mirit's Gang troupe.
Mirit is teaching belly dance at her
private studio
and at Palo Alto YMCA.
